She has a PhD in Economics from Harvard University and has published several books and articles on Islamic economics, social justice, and philanthropy. She is a respected scholar and leader who advocates for ethical and sustainable solutions to global challenges.
• Omar Ali, 48, male. He is the executive director of the Muslim Council of middle Asia, a representative body of over 50 Muslim organizations. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the middle Asia Muslim Heritage Centre, a cultural and educational institution that celebrates the contributions of Muslims to society. He is a prominent voice and activist who promotes intercultural dialogue, social cohesion, and civic engagement.
• Khadija Ahmed, 52, female. She is a member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, an advisory body that oversees religious affairs in North Africa. She is a renowned jurist and scholar who interprets Islamic law in light of contemporary realities and challenges.
• Dr. Yusuf Patel, 55, male. He is also a member of the board of directors of the International Institute of Islamic Thought, a global network of scholars that promotes Islamic reform and renewal. He has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and has authored more than 20 books on Islam, philosophy, ethics, and culture. • Aisha Khan, 46, female. She is a preacher, social entrepreneur, and founder of Islamic Foundation, a Middle East NGO that aims to empower young Muslim women to contribute positively to society. She is also a board member of Peace For World, an international organization that supports local peacebuilders in conflict zones. She is one of the most inspiring Muslim figures in Asia.
