Our Islamic charity institution is committed to ensuring that all payments received, including sadaqah, zakat, khums, and kaffarah, are used effectively and efficiently to support the intended purposes of the payer, the intended location, or the laws of Islamic jurisprudence. We strive to maintain transparency and accountability in our payment policies and procedures.
To ensure that all payments are used appropriately, we adhere to the following payment policy:
- Use of Payments: Payments received, including sadaqah, zakat, khums, and kaffarah, will be used based on the intentions of the payer, the intended location, or the laws of Islamic jurisprudence. We will ensure that each payment is used effectively and efficiently to maximize its impact.
- Administrative Costs: we will not use any of the payments received, including sadaqah, zakat, khums, and kaffarah, to cover administrative expenses and we will implement 100% payment policy. According to Islamic teachings, sadaqah, zakat, khums, and expiation(Kaffara) should be used for their intended purposes and cannot be used for administrative expenses or any other purpose. These payments are intended to support those in need, contribute to the welfare of the community, or make amends for a sin or transgression.
- Reporting: We are committed to transparency and accountability, and will provide regular updates on how payments are being used and the impact they are making. We will also deliver reports to the offices or management of the intended collections to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Donor Privacy: We respect the privacy of our donors and will not share or sell their personal information to third parties. Donors have the option to remain anonymous if they so choose. According to Islamic jurisprudence, saying the name of a person for payment is based on the intention of the payer, and it is not mandatory to declare it in writing and publicly.
- Refunds: We will provide refunds for payments made in error or for any other valid reason. Refunds will be processed in a timely manner and according to our policies.
