Our Sacred Duty: Mixing Water and Flour and Delivering Bread to the Palestinians

In the heart of every believer is the desire to do good — to bring ease to those in hardship and earn the eternal pleasure of Allah. When you give bread to the people of Gaza, Rafah, and the broader Palestinian region, you’re not just offering food. You’re offering hope, dignity, and a piece of your soul. At Our Islamic Charity, we walk this journey with you — hand in hand — restoring lives through something as simple, yet powerful, as a loaf of bread.

Why Bread? Because It Sustains Life — and Faith

Bread is more than just food. It’s a symbol of resilience. A basic human right. A daily reminder of survival and gratitude. In Gaza and Rafah, where the scent of war hangs in the air and the hum of drones often replaces the laughter of children, bread becomes a lifeline.

When conflict destroys local bakeries and supply chains are broken, families don’t just lose food — they lose their rhythm, their security, their sense of normalcy. That’s why we don’t just hand out aid; we rebuild bakeries, deliver fuel, water, and flour, knead the dough, and bake fresh bread daily.

Our teams dry the bread to preserve its quality, ensuring it lasts longer and reaches further — without losing its purity or nutrition.

This isn’t just humanitarian aid — this is philanthropic giving rooted in deep faith. This is sadaqah. This is the kind of alms that doesn’t just feed stomachs — it nourishes souls.

Rebuilding Dignity One Loaf at a Time

You may be wondering — how can something as small as a donation change anything in a war-torn land?

Here’s how:
When you donate cryptocurrency or traditional alms to Our Islamic Charity, you become part of a living system that directly serves Palestine. We use your donations to restore damaged bakeries across Gaza and Rafah. These aren’t temporary pop-ups — these are long-term facilities equipped with essential utilities: gas, flour, clean water, manpower, and purpose.

Every dry loaf of bread that reaches a family in Palestine is a silent message from you:
“You are not forgotten. We are with you. Allah is with you.”

And while your gift is physical, its reward is eternal. This act of giving — this spiritual transaction — is the kind of charity that shields you on the Day of Judgment. It multiplies your rizq, brings tranquility to your heart, and protects your wealth from loss.

Cryptocurrency and the Future of Charitable Giving

We live in a time where technology can serve faith. Cryptocurrency donations are now a powerful means of fulfilling your zakat, sadaqah, or general charity. They are fast, secure, borderless, and discreet — just like the purest forms of giving mentioned in the Qur’an.

“Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.” Quran(2:177)

Whether it’s Bitcoin, Ethereum, or stablecoins like Tether, your crypto donation is converted into bread, into fuel, into survival. No middlemen. No delays. Just direct aid flowing from your heart to the ovens of Gaza.

And while the bread nourishes the body, the act of giving elevates your soul.

You Are the Light in Their Darkness

Imagine a family breaking their fast in a tent near Rafah. The father holds back tears as he hands his children the dry bread you helped deliver. He doesn’t know your name — but he knows your generosity. He knows someone, somewhere, obeyed Allah’s command and gave from what they loved.

That someone could be you…

Give a Piece of Bread and See the Pleasure of Allah

We believe that every act of kindness writes a page in your book of deeds. And when you choose to give — even one slice of bread — you’re writing chapters of mercy, of reward, of everlasting impact.

Let’s Walk This Journey Together

At Our Islamic Charity, we don’t ask for charity out of desperation. We invite you to invest in your akhirah, to be part of a movement grounded in mercy and sincerity. Together, we are not just feeding the poor. We are reviving hope in Palestine. We are rebuilding what was destroyed. We are turning your philanthropic giving into a daily stream of blessings.

Don’t wait for the next crisis. Let your generosity be proactive, not reactive.

Start with one loaf. One intention. One heartfelt donation.

Join us in delivering bread to the people of Palestine — and earning barakah that never ends.

Understanding the Importance of Giving Zakat on Eid al-Fitr

Eid al-Fitr is one of the most joyous and significant occasions for Muslims worldwide. It marks the completion of Ramadan, a month of fasting, reflection, and worship. On this day, we gather with loved ones, share meals, and exchange gifts. However, Eid is not just about celebration; it is also about ensuring that every member of the Ummah, including the poor and needy, can partake in the festivities. This is where Zakat al-Fitr, also known as Fitrana, plays a vital role.

What is Zakat al-Fitr?

Zakat al-Fitr is a mandatory charity given by every Muslim before the Eid prayer. Its purpose is to purify the fasts of Ramadan and allow the less fortunate to experience the joy of Eid. Unlike Zakat al-Mal, which is based on accumulated wealth, Zakat al-Fitr is a fixed amount that must be given on behalf of each family member, including children and dependents. Click to see how to calculate Fitrana or pay your Zakat al-Fitr with cryptocurrency.

Difference Between Zakat al-Fitr and Zakat al-Mal

While both Zakat al-Fitr and Zakat al-Mal are obligatory, they serve different purposes:

  • Zakat al-Fitr is a small, fixed amount given before Eid al-Fitr to support the poor in celebrating the holiday.
  • Zakat al-Mal is a percentage of wealth (2.5%) that is given once a year to help those in need. In other words, it is both obligatory and, like Fitrana, must be paid once a year. Click to give your Zakat with cryptocurrency.
  • Timing: Zakat al-Fitr must be given before the Eid prayer, whereas Zakat al-Mal can be given at any time during the year and it must be paid once a year and on a date.
  • Calculation: Zakat al-Fitr is a set amount per person, while Zakat al-Mal is calculated based on savings that exceed the Nisab threshold.

Why Do Many Muslims Pay Zakat al-Mal on Eid?

Although Zakat al-Mal can be paid at any time of the year, many Muslims choose to pay it alongside Zakat al-Fitr on Eid al-Fitr. This practice has several benefits:

  1. Maximizing the Rewards of Ramadan: The last ten nights of Ramadan are especially blessed. By giving Zakat al-Mal at this time, Muslims increase their rewards and seek the mercy of Allah.
  2. Avoiding Forgetfulness: By combining both forms of Zakat, a person ensures they fulfill their obligations without delay.
  3. Spreading Joy on Eid: Since Eid is a day of happiness, paying Zakat al-Mal along with Fitrana allows more people to benefit from financial assistance, making the holiday even more special for those in need.

Giving Zakat to Widows and Orphans on Eid al-Fitr

At Our Islamic Charity, we prioritize supporting widows, orphans, and those who struggle to make ends meet. Your Zakat donations enable us to provide:

  • Eid gifts and clothing for orphaned children
  • Food packages for struggling families
  • Financial aid for widows to support their children
  • Special celebrations to bring smiles to those who have lost loved ones

By giving Zakat on Eid, you help make this blessed day a source of joy for everyone. Your generosity ensures that no one is left out of the celebration, fulfilling the true spirit of Eid al-Fitr.

How to Calculate and Pay Your Zakat

If you are unsure how much to give, use a Zakat Calculator to determine your obligation. Remember:

  • Zakat al-Fitr is a small amount per person (equivalent to the price of staple food like wheat, dates, or rice).
  • Zakat al-Mal is 2.5% of your savings and assets above the Nisab threshold.

Donations can be given in cryptocurrency, ensuring fast and secure transactions for those in need. Many Muslims hold their assets in Bitcoin or Ethereum or Solana or stablecoins such as Tether or USDC. If you also have assets in digital currencies, you should know that you can easily and safely give your obligatory zakat on cryptocurrencies to the needy with Bitcoin Zakat or Ethereum Zakat or Solana Zakat. If you are one of those who donate without KYC, you can use direct donation to the wallet.

Make Eid a Blessed Day for All

Eid is a time of unity, compassion, and generosity. Let us remember our brothers and sisters who are struggling and ensure they, too, can celebrate with dignity. Through your crypto Zakat donation, you can make a difference in the lives of the needy.

Give Zakat today and spread the joy of Eid to everyone!

Supporting the Fasting with Suhoor and Iftar Meals

Ramadan is a month of devotion, sacrifice, and generosity. For many of us, it is a time to reflect on our blessings and extend a helping hand to those struggling to find their next meal. At Our Islamic Charity, we embarked on a mission to ensure that no fasting Muslim is left without Suhoor and Iftar.

This year, our goal was ambitious yet necessary: to provide 40,000 Suhoor and Iftar meals for the needy with the support of our dedicated donors, including those who contribute through cryptocurrency donations. With your generosity, we have taken significant measures to alleviate hunger and hardship during this sacred month.

Emergency Relief: Providing Food and Water Amidst Crisis

Unfortunately, Ramadan 2025 has been marked by devastating conflicts in Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. Many Muslims in refugee camps and war-affected cities fasted under dire conditions, with limited access to food and clean water. Understanding the urgency, we focused not only on food distribution but also on providing medical and health assistance to ensure the well-being of the fasting individuals.

We expanded our efforts by delivering dry food packages, enhancing food relief operations, and upgrading community kitchens in multiple countries. Despite the challenges, our teams on the ground worked tirelessly to bring sustenance to those in need.

Impact Across Different Regions: A Report from the Ground

Now, after 20 days of Ramadan 2025, we are honored to share the impact of our efforts:

  • Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sudan, and South Sudan: Thousands of fasting individuals were served daily through our specialized kitchens, where hot meals were prepared and distributed with care.
  • Yemen and Palestine: These regions posed unique challenges due to ongoing conflicts. In many cases, our teams had to set up makeshift kitchens on the streets and rooftops to ensure food reached those in need. Additionally, we distributed dry and canned food packages to families who had no means to cook for themselves.

Through determination and the support of our donors, we proudly announce that in just 20 days of Ramadan:

  • 12,200 hot meals were cooked and served to fasting individuals. Including African countries like Sudan and South Sudan and Asian countries like Yemen, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
  • 16,400 dry and canned food packages were distributed across multiple countries. Especially the Mediterranean region like Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.

How Your Zakat and Crypto Donations Made a Difference

Your generosity plays a crucial role in sustaining these efforts. By donating Zakat, especially through cryptocurrency, you helped us extend our reach and ensure efficient and immediate food aid distribution. As Allah commands, giving Zakat purifies wealth and uplifts the most vulnerable among us.

This Ramadan, your donations transformed lives. Whether through food aid, water relief, or medical support, your contributions ensured that struggling families had the sustenance to observe their fasts with dignity.

Continuing the Mission Beyond Ramadan

Although Ramadan is a special time for giving, hunger and hardship do not end with the month’s conclusion. We urge you to continue supporting our mission so that we can provide food assistance, emergency relief, and sustainable aid throughout the year.

May Allah accept your charity, multiply your rewards, and grant you endless blessings. Let’s keep this momentum alive—together, we can make a lasting difference for those in need.

Fi Amanillah (May Allah protect you).

Honoring Women During Ramadan 2025 and Islamic Charity Report

Ramadan 2025 has brought countless blessings, and at Our Islamic Charity, we have been at the forefront of serving the fasting fuqara with dedication and love. As of now, nearly ten days into Ramadan, we have prepared and distributed an average of 10,000 Suhoor and Iftar meals daily across six countries: Palestine, Lebanon, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sudan. This massive effort, supported by our devoted donors, including those who donate cryptocurrency as zakat, has ensured that thousands of needy Muslims can fast in accordance with Islamic Sharia without worrying about their next meal.

However, this Ramadan holds an exceptional significance—it coincides with March 8th, International Women’s Day. This occasion provided us with a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the status of women in Islam, recognizing their strength, patience, and pivotal role in society while ensuring that our fasting sisters felt truly honored.

Honoring Women on March 8th in Ramadan 2025

On this special day, we arranged a heartfelt program dedicated to Muslim women who were fasting. We gathered in mosques and community centers, where we recited the Quran, made du’a, and reflected on the elevated status of women in Islam. The evening concluded with a communal Iftar, where we shared traditional meals and treated our sisters in faith to local sweets as a token of appreciation.

One of the women attending our event in Lebanon, Sister Aisha, expressed her joy, saying:

“Today, we not only celebrate our role as women but also as believers who are blessed to fast for the sake of Allah. In Islam, we are not just valued—we are honored. This Ramadan, as we gather for Iftar, we pray for the well-being of all women, especially those in hardship. May Allah grant us strength and patience.”

Another sister, Fatima from Palestine, shared her gratitude:

“Living under occupation is difficult, but faith and community give us strength. On this Women’s Day, we were reminded that in Islam, a woman’s worth is not defined by worldly standards but by her devotion, kindness, and resilience. May Allah bless all who support women, especially in these times of need.”

The Elevated Status of Women in Islam

Islam grants women a respected and dignified position, emphasizing their rights and responsibilities. The Quran and Hadith highlight the importance of women as mothers, daughters, wives, and contributors to society. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The best of you are those who are best to their women.” (Tirmidhi)

As part of our charity’s mission, we prioritize assisting women, ensuring they have access to nutritious Suhoor and Iftar meals, hygiene essentials, and spiritual gatherings where they can find solace and support.

A Prayer for Our Crypto Donors and Supporters

This Ramadan, we continue to witness the generosity of our donors, including those contributing through cryptocurrency donations, making it easier for us to extend our reach. On this blessed occasion, as we broke our fast together, we collectively raised our hands in du’a:

“O Allah, bless those who give for Your sake. Multiply their rewards, ease their burdens, and grant them the joy of seeing their kindness transform lives. Accept their zakat and sadaqah, and make it a means of barakah in this life and the hereafter. Ameen.”

Moving Forward: Strengthening Support for Women

As we progress through Ramadan 2025, Our Islamic Charity remains committed to empowering women through Islamic values. We will continue organizing iftar gatherings, distributing meals, and providing sustainable aid for women in need.

This Women’s Day was a reminder that Islam has always championed the rights of women—not just in words, but in action. By supporting and uplifting one another, we fulfill a divine duty that brings us closer to Allah.

May Allah bless all women, reward our donors abundantly, and allow us to continue serving for His sake. Ramadan Mubarak!

Best Charity is That Given in Ramadan

Ramadan is a sacred month in which fasting is prescribed for all Muslims who are able to observe it. It is not just a time of abstaining from food and drink but a period of spiritual purification, heightened devotion, and acts of generosity. One of the most rewarding acts in this blessed month is giving Zakat, which helps support those in need and strengthens the bonds of the Muslim Ummah.

Allah says in the Quran: “And establish prayer and give Zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves—you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:110)

As an Islamic obligation, Zakat is a pillar of Islam, and its significance is even greater in Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of giving during this month:

“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” (Tirmidhi)

The Importance of Zakat in Ramadan 2025

Zakat during Ramadan holds immense spiritual rewards, as deeds performed in this blessed month are multiplied many times over. By donating, we not only purify our wealth but also ensure that our fellow Muslims have enough to eat for Suhoor and Iftar. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” (Tirmidhi)

At Our Islamic Charity, we believe in fulfilling this obligation in the best possible way. In Ramadan 2025, we plan to cook 40,000 Suhoor and Iftar meals and distribute dry food packages to needy families, allowing them to observe fasting with dignity and ease. See the programs of Ramadan Al-Karim 2025.

How Your Zakat Helps the Needy in Ramadan 2025

With just a few days of Ramadan passed(Report March 6, 2025), we present a detailed report of how the Zakat we received has already been distributed:

  • Cooking 4,800 Iftar and Suhoor meals for the needy in the Middle East and Mediterranean regions, including Palestine, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
  • Preparing 2,200 dry food packages, including essential items like oil, grains, wheat flour, rice, sugar, dates, and tea, ensuring that fasting Muslims have the necessary sustenance.
  • Paying off debts for families struggling financially by covering essential household expenses such as water, electricity, gas, and medical bills.

The impact of these efforts is profound, and with your continued support, we aim to reach even more families before the month ends.

Crypto Zakat: Donating to Charity Wallets Directly

With advancements in technology, donating Zakat has become easier and more efficient. Many Muslims now choose to send Crypto Zakat directly to charity wallets, ensuring instant transactions without intermediaries. This method allows for greater transparency, security, and direct impact, making it a viable way to fulfill your Islamic obligation while supporting those in need.

Allah commands us:

“Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [ Allah ‘s blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:103)

The Blessings of Giving in Ramadan

Ramadan is a time of blessings, mercy, and forgiveness. It is an opportunity to share our wealth with those less fortunate and earn Allah’s favor. The Prophet (peace be upon him) reminded us:

“Wealth is not diminished by giving in charity. Rather, it is increased, and Allah raises the humble.” (Muslim)

By contributing your Zakat to Our Islamic Charity, you ensure that struggling Muslim families have food on their table for Suhoor and Iftar. This not only relieves their hardship but also strengthens the spirit of unity in our Ummah.

See the Impact of Your Donations

We invite you to witness how your Zakat is making a difference. We have captured moments of Iftar distributions, food package preparations, and heartfelt gratitude from those receiving your support.

Join us in making Ramadan 2025 a month of blessings for everyone. Your Zakat is more than just a donation—it is a means of fulfilling a sacred duty, uplifting the less fortunate, and securing eternal rewards from Allah.

May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and Zakat, and may He grant ease to all those in need. Ameen.
