What We Do

Charity and Faith in Ramadan

Ramadan 2025 has brought with it many blessings, but today, we want to share a story of one of the most dedicated individuals in our Islamic charity. Halima, a humble yet extraordinary cook, has been preparing meals for the needy for eight years without seeking recognition. Her story is one of unwavering faith, selflessness, and an unshakable belief in Allah’s rewards.

A Life Devoted to Feeding the Fasting

Halima was born in Syria and has spent her life serving others. Despite the turmoil that has engulfed her homeland, she remained steadfast in her mission—to ensure that no fasting Muslim in her community goes to bed hungry. Now, at 57 years old, she still approaches every Ramadan with the same passion as when she first joined us.

For years, Halima refused to have her photo taken or her name published, believing that her reward lies solely with Allah. When we asked her why she was so strict in reporting her activities, she recited this verse from the Quran to us in her native language, Arabic, and we all enjoyed the power of her faith and learned from her:

Allah Sees Even the Hidden Acts of Charity

“If you disclose your charity, it is good, but if you conceal it and give it to the poor, it is better for you, and He will remove from you some of your misdeeds. And Allah is Aware of what you do.”— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:271)

But this year, she agreed to allow us to share her story—so that others may be inspired by her devotion. One single photo was taken of her(Photo at the beginning of the text), capturing her in action, preparing iftar for Palestinian Muslims with the same warmth and sincerity that she has always shown.

Cooking for the Needy: A Mission of Faith

In the westernmost part of Syria, near the border with Palestine, Halima works in a kitchen that she equipped herself. Every day, she and her team prepare nearly 400 Suhoor and Iftar meals for fasting Muslims in Syria and Palestine. The conditions are challenging—limited resources, long hours, and the heavy weight of responsibility—but Halima’s faith never wavers.

She often tells us that cooking for the needy is her form of worship. The aroma of freshly cooked meals, the steam rising from the pots, and the sound of utensils clinking against metal bowls are, for her, reminders of Allah’s mercy. Every grain of rice, every loaf of bread, and every bowl of soup she prepares is infused with sincerity and love.

The Impact of Your Donations

Halima’s efforts are made possible by the generosity of donors like you. With every cryptocurrency donation, we are able to provide more meals, purchase better ingredients, and expand our reach. As an Islamic charity, we ensure that every donation is distributed according to Islamic Sharia, supporting those who need it most.

This Ramadan, as we fast and reflect, let us remember Halima and the countless others who dedicate their lives to serving the Ummah. Your contributions help us continue this mission, providing Suhoor and Iftar meals to those in Syria and Palestine who rely on this charity for survival.

Join Us in Rewarding Acts of Kindness

Halima’s story is one of quiet sacrifice, but her impact is loud and clear. She has shown us that true charity comes from the heart, expecting nothing in return except the pleasure of Allah. If you are inspired by her dedication, you can be a part of this noble mission.

Donate today and help us continue providing for the needy. Together, we can ensure that every fasting Muslim has the chance to break their fast with dignity and ease.

May Allah bless Halima, her team, and all those who contribute to this beautiful act of charity. Ramadan Mubarak!

Best Charity is That Given in Ramadan

Ramadan is a sacred month in which fasting is prescribed for all Muslims who are able to observe it. It is not just a time of abstaining from food and drink but a period of spiritual purification, heightened devotion, and acts of generosity. One of the most rewarding acts in this blessed month is giving Zakat, which helps support those in need and strengthens the bonds of the Muslim Ummah.

Allah says in the Quran: “And establish prayer and give Zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves—you will find it with Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:110)

As an Islamic obligation, Zakat is a pillar of Islam, and its significance is even greater in Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of giving during this month:

“The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” (Tirmidhi)

The Importance of Zakat in Ramadan 2025

Zakat during Ramadan holds immense spiritual rewards, as deeds performed in this blessed month are multiplied many times over. By donating, we not only purify our wealth but also ensure that our fellow Muslims have enough to eat for Suhoor and Iftar. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward in the slightest.” (Tirmidhi)

At Our Islamic Charity, we believe in fulfilling this obligation in the best possible way. In Ramadan 2025, we plan to cook 40,000 Suhoor and Iftar meals and distribute dry food packages to needy families, allowing them to observe fasting with dignity and ease. See the programs of Ramadan Al-Karim 2025.

How Your Zakat Helps the Needy in Ramadan 2025

With just a few days of Ramadan passed(Report March 6, 2025), we present a detailed report of how the Zakat we received has already been distributed:

  • Cooking 4,800 Iftar and Suhoor meals for the needy in the Middle East and Mediterranean regions, including Palestine, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
  • Preparing 2,200 dry food packages, including essential items like oil, grains, wheat flour, rice, sugar, dates, and tea, ensuring that fasting Muslims have the necessary sustenance.
  • Paying off debts for families struggling financially by covering essential household expenses such as water, electricity, gas, and medical bills.

The impact of these efforts is profound, and with your continued support, we aim to reach even more families before the month ends.

Crypto Zakat: Donating to Charity Wallets Directly

With advancements in technology, donating Zakat has become easier and more efficient. Many Muslims now choose to send Crypto Zakat directly to charity wallets, ensuring instant transactions without intermediaries. This method allows for greater transparency, security, and direct impact, making it a viable way to fulfill your Islamic obligation while supporting those in need.

Allah commands us:

“Take, [O, Muhammad], from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke [ Allah ‘s blessings] upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.” (Surah At-Tawbah 9:103)

The Blessings of Giving in Ramadan

Ramadan is a time of blessings, mercy, and forgiveness. It is an opportunity to share our wealth with those less fortunate and earn Allah’s favor. The Prophet (peace be upon him) reminded us:

“Wealth is not diminished by giving in charity. Rather, it is increased, and Allah raises the humble.” (Muslim)

By contributing your Zakat to Our Islamic Charity, you ensure that struggling Muslim families have food on their table for Suhoor and Iftar. This not only relieves their hardship but also strengthens the spirit of unity in our Ummah.

See the Impact of Your Donations

We invite you to witness how your Zakat is making a difference. We have captured moments of Iftar distributions, food package preparations, and heartfelt gratitude from those receiving your support.

Join us in making Ramadan 2025 a month of blessings for everyone. Your Zakat is more than just a donation—it is a means of fulfilling a sacred duty, uplifting the less fortunate, and securing eternal rewards from Allah.

May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and Zakat, and may He grant ease to all those in need. Ameen.

What Is Universal Human Beings Week and When Does It Take Place?

Universal Human Beings Week is an annual observance from March 1 to March 7. In 2025, this significant week coincides with the holy month of Ramadan, making it an even more profound opportunity for reflection, unity, and charitable acts. This observance was established to emphasize human and spiritual values over materialism, encouraging love, unity, and social justice.

Events and Activities During Universal Human Beings Week

Throughout this week, individuals and organizations come together to promote kindness, respect, and unity. The following activities are central to this observance:

  • Personal Commitment: Taking time to reflect on our actions and committing to treating others with kindness, respect, and dignity.
  • Community Engagement: Organizing and participating in initiatives that foster peace and unity, breaking barriers across age, status, race, and religion.
  • Social Media Advocacy: As Muslims, participating in Universal Human Beings Week aligns with Islamic principles of compassion, community service, and social justice.

How Can We as Muslims Contribute During Universal Human Beings Week?

As an Islamic charity, ‘Our Islamic Charity’ recognizes the importance of this week, especially as it aligns with Ramadan 2025. This is a powerful opportunity to teach Islamic values of generosity, self-discipline, and community support. Here’s how we can actively participate:

1. Interfaith and Community Dialogue

Ramadan and Universal Human Beings Week both emphasize the value of human connection. Engaging in interfaith discussions and inviting people from different backgrounds to join Iftar gatherings can promote mutual respect and understanding.

2. Promoting Islamic Culture and Values in Ramadan

We can hold workshops, discussions, and educational events that teach the importance of Ramadan beyond fasting—focusing on patience, humility, gratitude, and community service.

3. Charitable Giving (Sadaqah) and Donations

One of the pillars of Islam is giving to those in need. During this week, we encourage Muslims to donate to the less fortunate, whether through financial assistance, food distribution, or other charitable actions. For those involved in cryptocurrency donations, this is also an excellent time to use digital assets to help fund essential aid programs.

4. Hosting Iftar and Suhoor for the Needy

Since this week falls during Ramadan, we can extend our charity by organizing communal Iftar and Suhoor meals for the underprivileged. This ensures that those who are fasting have access to nutritious meals and feel included in the community.

5. Volunteering for Social Causes

We can encourage volunteering in hospitals, orphanages, and shelters to assist those in need. Acts of kindness, big or small, reflect the true spirit of Islam and the essence of Universal Human Beings Week.

The Coincidence of Universal Human Beings Week and Ramadan 2025

The alignment of this week with Ramadan makes it even more special. This is a time when Muslims worldwide focus on personal growth, charity, and spirituality. As a charity, we are committed to maximizing the impact of this week by organizing various cultural and religious events in different countries. Through these efforts, we aim to educate people on the significance of Ramadan, the importance of Suhoor and Iftar, and the essence of kindness and generosity in Islam.

A Week of Global Kindness and Faith

Universal Human Beings Week provides an incredible opportunity to align humanitarian values with Islamic teachings. As we fast, pray, and give during Ramadan 2025, let’s also take this chance to promote unity, peace, and generosity worldwide. By actively participating in this global movement, we not only strengthen our faith but also help build a better, more compassionate world for everyone.

How Can You Transform Lives in Palestine During Ramadan 2025?

In the heart of Palestine—across Rafah, Gaza, and the West Bank—we have witnessed a struggle that touches every fiber of our being. As dedicated members of Our Islamic Charity, we have seen with our own eyes how families are fighting to survive amid displacement, loss of homes, and shattered livelihoods. This Ramadan 2025, we invite you to join us in our mission to uplift the poor, the needy, and all those in desperate circumstances. Together, through sincere Zakat and innovative cryptocurrency donations, we can bring hope, healing, and essential relief to those who need it the most.

Our On-The-Ground Journey: Witnessing the Struggles in Palestine

We have walked the dusty roads of Rafah, felt the palpable tension in Gaza’s narrow alleys, and spent long, heartfelt evenings in the West Bank, where hope flickers even in the darkest moments. In every refugee camp and informal settlement, our hearts have broken as we listened to the stories of families who have lost everything—homes, jobs, and the comfort of normalcy. Amid the backdrop of fasting, iftar gatherings, and suhoor preparations, we have shared tears and smiles with our Palestinian brothers and sisters. Their courage in the face of adversity and their unwavering faith inspire us daily.

We see firsthand the impact of poverty and displacement on the poor, the needy. This experience has deepened our commitment to stand alongside them during this sacred month, ensuring that every act of charity lights up the lives of those who have been left in the shadows.

The Lifeline of Zakat: Embracing the Teachings of Surah At-Tawbah

Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, and it is also when the opportunity to give Zakat becomes most significant. Verse 60 of Surah At-Tawbah guides us by outlining the categories of individuals who are eligible to receive Zakat.

“Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakah] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the [stranded] traveler – an obligation [imposed] by Allah . And Allah is Knowing and Wise.”(Quran 9:60)

This divine instruction identifies the poor, the needy, those engaged in the cause of Allah, and the stranded traveler. When we look at the reality on the ground in Palestine, it becomes clear that our brothers and sisters fall into each of these groups:

  • The Poor (Fuqara): Many families have been stripped of their basic necessities. They live in overcrowded camps, where every day is a struggle to secure food, clean water, and shelter.
  • The Needy (Masakin): Displacement and loss of income have rendered countless individuals helpless. These are people who desperately need our support to break the cycle of hardship.
  • For the Cause of Allah: Supporting the Palestinian people is not merely an act of charity; it is an embodiment of our commitment to justice and compassion. Their fight for dignity and survival aligns with the noble cause of preserving human rights and upholding the values of our faith.
  • The Stranded Traveler: In a broader sense, many Palestinians are like travelers without a destination—forced to navigate a precarious existence without a stable home or future. Their plight resonates deeply with the spirit of Zakat, which calls on us to help those who are lost and in need of guidance.

By giving Zakat to Palestine, you are not only fulfilling a pillar of our faith but also directly contributing to the welfare of people who have been pushed to the margins of society. Every act of kindness and every donation helps to rebuild lives and restore hope where it is needed most.

Empowering Change: Cryptocurrency Donations and Direct Support This Ramadan

Innovation meets tradition in our approach to charitable giving. In this digital age, we understand that technology can be a powerful ally in the fight against poverty. That’s why we warmly welcome cryptocurrency donations as a modern and secure method to channel your Zakat. By choosing to donate through cryptocurrency, you can be sure that your contributions reach our brothers and sisters in Palestine swiftly and transparently. If you want to calculate your zakat with cryptocurrencies, you can use the crypto zakat calculator.

Every day of Ramadan, we mobilize our team on the ground to distribute iftar meals that break the fast with warmth and solidarity, and suhoor packages that ensure a nourishing start to the day. These meals are more than just food; they are a symbol of our collective hope and a testament to our shared humanity. We believe that every donation, no matter how big or small, creates a ripple effect of positive change—transforming despair into dignity, isolation into community, and hunger into hope.

We invite you to join us in this noble mission. Your support, whether through traditional means or through cryptocurrency, directly fuels our efforts to alleviate suffering and build a future where every Palestinian can stand with dignity. This Ramadan 2025, let your generosity be a beacon of light for the displaced, the struggling, and the resilient souls of Palestine.

Together, we have the power to change lives. Your Zakat, combined with the ease of cryptocurrency donations, enables us to bring immediate relief and long-term hope to those in desperate need. We, at Our Islamic Charity, live and work among the Palestinian people, sharing in their joys and sorrows. With every iftar shared and every suhoor provided, we experience the true spirit of Ramadan—a time of empathy, unity, and transformative compassion.

Let us unite our hearts and resources to help Palestine this Ramadan 2025. Your generous contribution is more than a donation; it is a lifeline that reaffirms our collective belief in justice, mercy, and the power of faith. Together, we can heal the wounds of the past and build a future where hope shines as brightly as the crescent moon over Palestine.

Join us in making a lasting impact—donate your Zakat today and be a part of this incredible journey of healing and renewal.

Islamic Philanthropy Through Blockchain

Ramadan 2025 is fast approaching, and at Our Islamic Charity, we are once again preparing to serve the fasting believers who rely on us for their daily sustenance. This year, we have taken a major step forward by securing 1,100 kilograms of meat to ensure that thousands of needy Muslims can enjoy nutritious iftar and suhoor meals. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to serving the less fortunate across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region.

Ensuring Quality and Compliance with Islamic Sharia

To uphold the highest standards of hygiene and Islamic regulations, we have carefully selected and purchased about 50 sheep and goats. Each animal was examined by expert veterinarians before being slaughtered in accordance with Islamic Sharia and ethical guidelines. This rigorous process ensures that the meat is pure (halal) and of the highest quality for those observing the sacred fast.

Once the animals were slaughtered, the meat was divided into two essential portions.

  • The first portion was hygienically packaged and stored in cold storage at our charity kitchens. This meat will be used to prepare nourishing iftar meals for fasting individuals throughout the holy month.
  • The second portion was distributed directly to impoverished families before the start of Ramadan. This allowed them to prepare for the blessed month, ensuring that they could enjoy homemade suhoor and iftar with their loved ones.

By following strict hygiene standards and working with skilled professionals, we guarantee that every meal prepared in our kitchens is safe, nutritious, and satisfying. You can Qurbani in Ramadan now from here.

This approach helps us maximize our resources and serve as many people as possible. Our work does not end with just meat distribution; we also focus on ensuring that families receive staple food items, including rice, lentils, and cooking oil, so they can prepare wholesome meals at home. For example:
900 Kilos of Corn for Ramadan Iftar 2025
Purchasing 4 Tons of Flour for Iftar for the Needy in Ramadan 2025

Aiming for 40,000 Iftar and Suhoor Meals

Our team of nutrition experts has carefully calculated the amount of food required to sustain our kitchens in Asian and African countries. Based on their estimates, the 1,100 kilograms of meat we secured will be sufficient to prepare meals until the middle of Ramadan. However, we anticipate that our current supply will run out, and we are in urgent need of additional funding to purchase more meat, rice, and essential food items to sustain operations until the end of the holy month.

Despite the challenges, we firmly place our trust in Allah and in the generosity of our donors. In past years, through faith and collective effort, we have overcome similar hurdles, ensuring that the needy do not go hungry. This Ramadan, we have set an ambitious goal: to cook and distribute 40,000 meals for iftar and suhoor. This is only possible with the support of generous hearts like yours.

Join Us in This Noble Mission

Ramadan is a time of mercy, generosity, and abundant blessings. Your support can make a life-changing difference for those who are struggling to find their next meal. By donating cryptocurrency or contributing in other ways, you help us provide food security to thousands of fasting individuals in dire need. You can see our plans for iftar and suhoor meals in Ramadan 2025 here.

Every meal we prepare is a beacon of hope. Every act of kindness brings us closer to Allah’s mercy. You, too, can be part of this beautiful journey of giving. Let’s come together and make Ramadan 2025 a time of relief, joy, and sustenance for those who need it the most.

May Allah reward you abundantly for your generosity and grant blessings to all those who support this noble cause. Ameen.
