What We Do

Serving Iftar and Suhoor to Those in Need

Ramadan is a time of devotion, self-discipline, and generosity. As millions of Muslims around the world observe fasting from dawn to sunset, the need for safe, hygienic, and efficient kitchen operations becomes even more crucial. At Our Islamic Charity, we understand the responsibility that comes with preparing Iftar and Suhoor for the needy. Our commitment to kitchen hygiene and safety is unwavering, and we take extra precautions to ensure that every meal we serve meets the highest standards.

The Importance of Kitchen Hygiene and Safety During Ramadan

In any kitchen, hygiene and safety are fundamental, but during Ramadan, they become even more critical. The intensity of food preparation increases, and the cooks, who are themselves fasting, require a comfortable and well-organized working environment.

We have developed a structured kitchen hygiene and safety checklist that we review every three months across all our charity kitchens. However, as Ramadan approaches, we enforce stricter measures to accommodate the increased demand and ensure that our kitchens operate smoothly.

Some of the essential aspects of our kitchen hygiene protocols include:

  • Strict Food Handling Procedures: Ensuring that all ingredients are properly washed, stored, and prepared following hygiene standards.
  • Personal Hygiene for Staff: Regular handwashing, use of gloves, and clean uniforms for all cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Safe Cooking Practices: Monitoring food temperatures, preventing cross-contamination, and ensuring proper food storage.
  • Regular Equipment and Facility Inspections: Checking stoves, ovens, refrigerators, and all utensils to ensure functionality and cleanliness.

Preparing for Ramadan: A Detailed Checklist

Since the volume of food prepared for Iftar and Suhoor significantly increases during Ramadan, we take additional steps to ensure our operations run smoothly.

1. Reviewing Kitchen Conditions and Safety Measures

Before Ramadan begins, we conduct a comprehensive review of our kitchens, identifying areas that need improvement. Our team double-checks food storage facilities, ventilation, and overall cleanliness to prevent any issues that may arise during peak cooking hours.

2. Training and Briefing for Kitchen Staff

To ensure that everyone is prepared, we organize training sessions for our kitchen staff. These sessions focus on food hygiene, safety precautions, and effective meal preparation techniques. Since our cooks are fasting themselves, we emphasize time management and ways to maintain energy levels while working long hours.

3. Optimizing Meal Plans Based on Suhoor and Iftar Timing

Precise timing is crucial when preparing meals for Suhoor and Iftar. We create structured meal plans that align with fasting hours, ensuring that food is ready and served fresh at the correct times. Our menus are designed to provide balanced nutrition, keeping in mind the needs of those fasting.

4. Assessing Food and Equipment Requirements

With an increased demand for food during Ramadan, we stock up on essential ingredients in advance. We ensure that all kitchen equipment is in optimal condition to handle large-scale meal preparations efficiently.

Ramadan 2025: Continuing Our Mission to Serve the Needy

As we approach Ramadan 2025, we have already begun preparations to ensure that our operations are well-organized and effective. Our goal remains the same–to serve Iftar and Suhoor to those in need with dignity and care. Through meticulous planning and unwavering dedication, we strive to make Ramadan a time of nourishment and hope for the less fortunate.

Your support can make a difference. By donating cryptocurrency or giving zakat in Ramadan, you can help us reach even more people in need. Together, we can uphold the true spirit of Ramadan–compassion, generosity, and community.

May Allah bless everyone who contributes to feeding the fasting and ensure that our efforts bring comfort to those in need. Let us continue to serve with sincerity and dedication in Ramadan 2025 and beyond.

Preparing for Ramadan: A Month-Long Effort

As an Islamic charity, we consider it our sacred duty to help the needy and poor, as commanded by the Quran. This Ramadan, we reaffirm our commitment to feeding the less fortunate by preparing meals for Iftar and Suhoor. With careful planning and unwavering dedication, we ensure that those in need have access to warm, nutritious food during this holy month.

Every year, we begin preparations 30 days before Ramadan, ensuring that everything is in place for our large-scale Iftar and Suhoor programs. This involves equipping our kitchens, securing essential ingredients, and organizing our team of volunteers. One of the most important steps in this process is obtaining high-quality wheat flour, which serves as the foundation for many traditional dishes.

This year, we have successfully purchased 4 tons of flour, which has been distributed among 10 kitchens across the Middle East, the Mediterranean region, and Central Africa. With this essential ingredient, we are fully prepared to provide wholesome and culturally appropriate meals to thousands of people in need.

Flour: The Heart of Iftar and Suhoor

Flour-based dishes are a staple in many cultures, making it an invaluable resource for our Ramadan meal programs. With just wheat flour dough, we can prepare a variety of nutritious and comforting dishes tailored to regional preferences. From samosa, fatayer, and manakish in the Middle East to khobz, chapati, and luqaimat in Africa, this simple ingredient allows us to create meals that nourish both body and soul.

By focusing on traditional recipes, we ensure that every Iftar and Suhoor is not only fulfilling but also deeply familiar and comforting to those we serve. This variety also helps us cater to different dietary needs, making sure that our meals remain inclusive and accessible to all.

Bitcoin Donation: Powering Charitable Efforts in Ramadan 2025

One of the most remarkable aspects of this year’s Ramadan preparations is how we acquired the 4 tons of flour–through Bitcoin donations. The growing acceptance of cryptocurrency for humanitarian efforts has allowed us to expand our reach and enhance the efficiency of our charity work. In previous years, we primarily relied on stablecoins for transactions, but now, we are seeing Bitcoin becoming a more direct and viable method for aiding the needy.

We bought with a food supplier via Bitcoin. Your donated Bitcoins enabled us to purchase 4 tons of flour for Ramadan.

This milestone marks a significant shift in how “crypto for good” is evolving from a mere slogan to a tangible reality. Through your generous Bitcoin donations, we have been able to purchase essential food supplies that will directly impact the lives of those who rely on us. Your support has not only helped us feed the hungry but has also demonstrated the true potential of cryptocurrency as a force for positive change.

Gratitude and Blessings for Ramadan 2025

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors whose contributions make this initiative possible. May Allah bless you abundantly for your generosity and reward you for every meal that brings comfort to a fasting soul. As we move forward with our Iftar and Suhoor programs, we invite more donors to join us in this mission. Your support, whether through Bitcoin donations or other forms of charity, ensures that we can continue to provide for those in need.

This Ramadan, let’s come together to make a difference. Let’s transform our intentions into action, our donations into sustenance, and our compassion into lasting impact. May Allah bless us all in this sacred month and beyond.

Help Palestine: Cryptocurrency Aid for Humanitarian Crisis Relief

The dawn of January 2025 brought a fragile ceasefire to Palestine, ending months of relentless conflict and destruction. Families who had been displaced began their journey back to what was once home, only to face a harrowing reality: there is no city to return to, just remnants of lives torn apart. The once vibrant neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble, leaving behind a landscape of despair and ruin.

Returning to Ruins: Life in a Shattered City

Imagine walking into a city where the streets are no longer streets, and homes are barely recognizable piles of rubble. Families who once lived comfortably now find themselves wandering through what remains of their past lives. Without water, electricity, or gas, even basic necessities feel out of reach.

Kitchens lie in ruins, and there’s no food to prepare even if they were functional. The air is heavy with the chill of winter, and the nights are colder than ever. Warm clothes are scarce, often worn and unclean, while bathing facilities are nearly non-existent, forcing families to endure long queues for rationed water.

Surviving the Harsh Winter Without Essentials

Winter has brought unimaginable suffering to the people of Gaza. Gaza is one of the eastern regions of Palestine that has suffered serious damage. Without heating, families huddle together under what little they have to fight the biting cold. The absence of clean water has made daily life a constant struggle. Simple needs like bathing, cooking, and washing have turned into insurmountable challenges, leaving many vulnerable to illness. Warmth is a luxury few can afford, and humanitarian aid, though a lifeline, is far from sufficient to meet the overwhelming needs.

A Call for Compassion and Action

The Urgent Need for Clean Water, Dry Food, and Warm Clothes

The people of Gaza face an uphill battle. With no homes to return to, no safe water to drink, and no steady supply of food, life here is a constant test of resilience. Yet, even in the face of such devastation, there is hope. Together, we can extend a helping hand and offer urgent aid to ease their suffering. By donating essentials such as warm clothes, food, and funds for emergency shelters, we can make a tangible difference in their lives.

This winter, let us stand together as a global community. The people of Gaza need us now more than ever. Your contribution, no matter how small, can help rebuild not just homes but also lives. Let’s turn compassion into action and ensure that no family is left to face this harsh reality alone.

Our Services: A Commitment to Humanity

Our Islamic Charity has been active in various regions, providing essential services to those in need. In Gaza, we are focusing on delivering clean water, dry food, and warm clothing–the most urgent needs right now. But our work doesn’t stop there. We are also setting up emergency shelters, distributing hygiene kits, and providing medical aid to those injured or ill. Our goal is to address both the immediate and long-term needs of the communities we serve.

In addition to Gaza, we are working in other parts of Palestine and beyond, offering humanitarian aid to those affected by conflict and natural disasters. Whether it’s building emergency shelters, providing clean water, or distributing food packs, our mission is to alleviate suffering and restore dignity to those who have lost everything.

The Path Forward: Rebuilding Lives and Communities

The road to recovery for Gaza and other war-torn regions is long and fraught with challenges. The United Nations estimates that rebuilding Gaza alone could cost over $80 billion, with clearing the 50 million tons of rubble potentially taking decades. But while the task is daunting, it is not impossible. With your support, we can help rebuild lives and communities, one step at a time.

Your donations–whether in traditional currency or cryptocurrency–can provide the resources needed to make a real difference. Together, we can ensure that families in Gaza and beyond have access to clean water, nutritious food, warm clothing, and safe shelter. We can help them rebuild their homes, their lives, and their futures.

At Our Islamic Charity, we are committed to providing urgent aid to the people of Gaza. Together, we can deliver clean water, warm clothes, and food aid to those who need it most. Let’s act now to bring relief to our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Every donation counts.

How You Can Help Alleviate Suffering Through Charity Donations

As we stand amidst the ongoing turmoil in Yemen, the reality of the situation is deeply distressing. The Yemeni people continue to endure unimaginable hardships caused by years of relentless conflict. Families are being torn apart, children are left without parents, and the elderly are struggling to survive.

Right now, the streets echo with the cries of those who have lost everything. War-torn cities, once bustling with life, now lie in ruins. The devastation has left countless people without shelter, food, or access to basic healthcare. You can almost feel the weight of their suffering as you witness firsthand the desperate attempts of families to rebuild shattered lives.

The Heartbreaking Reality in War-Torn Yemen

Yemen has been seriously involved in war since 2020. As of November 2021, the United Nations reported that the death toll from Yemen’s war was projected to reach 377,000 by the end of that year, with 70% of those deaths being children under the age of five. The majority of these deaths resulted from indirect causes such as hunger and preventable diseases.

In 2024, approximately 489,000 individuals have been displaced due to armed conflict and harsh weather conditions. Of these, 93.8% were affected by climate-related crises, while 6.2% were displaced by conflict.

Even now in December 2024, these explosions continue and many basic infrastructures have been targeted by missiles. These strikes destroyed infrastructure and energy facilities, resulting in at least nine fatalities and exacerbating electricity shortages.

Displacement on an Unimaginable Scale

The scale of displacement is staggering. Hundreds of thousands of families have been forced to flee their homes, leaving behind the remnants of their lives. Makeshift camps dot the landscape, but the conditions are far from humane. There is no electricity to light up the night, no running water to quench thirst, and no proper sewage system to ensure sanitary living.

Gas canisters, essential for cooking, are a rare commodity, making even the simplest meal a challenging task. Raw food is scarce, and even when available, transporting it safely to the camps is another uphill battle. These are not just statistics; these are real stories of families fighting for survival every day.

The Struggles Within Refugee Camps

For those who find refuge in camps, the struggles persist. Imagine living in a tent with no access to proper bathroom facilities. Simple tasks such as maintaining hygiene become burdensome. The lack of clean water forces families to ration what little they have, risking dehydration and disease.

We’ve spoken to mothers who walk for miles under the scorching sun just to fetch a small bucket of water for their children. Fathers stay awake at night, guarding what little they possess. The resilience of these people is inspiring, but no one should have to endure such suffering.

How We Can Help Together

At Our Islamic Charity, we firmly believe that collective action can bring about real change. By donating to Yemen, you can provide essential aid that directly impacts the lives of those in need. Your donations help us distribute hot meals, build essential infrastructure, and ensure that displaced families have access to basic necessities.

Cryptocurrency donations offer a modern, secure, and transparent way to provide relief. With the power of blockchain technology, we can ensure that every contribution reaches those who need it the most without unnecessary delays or administrative fees.

The Power of Your Contribution

Every single donation matters. Even the smallest contribution can provide meals for families, blankets for warmth, and medical supplies for those who are ill. The Yemeni people rely on the kindness of strangers to survive, and your support can offer hope where it’s needed most. Here you can donate directly to the cryptocurrency wallet for the Yemeni people.

In the face of war and devastation, we stand together with the Yemeni people. By opening our hearts and giving generously, we can ease the pain of war and help rebuild lives. Let’s act now. Together, we can bring light to even the darkest corners of Yemen.

5 Critical Challenges Charity Kitchens Face and How We Overcome Them

In our journey as Our Islamic Charity, we have seen firsthand how charity kitchens serve as a lifeline for the needy, especially in war-torn and poverty-stricken areas like Yemen, Syria, and Palestine. These kitchens are a beacon of hope, providing warm, nutritious meals to hungry children, families, and displaced individuals. Yet, behind the scenes, running charity kitchens comes with immense challenges that require constant effort, planning, and Allah’s guidance.

We work tirelessly across Africa, the Mediterranean region, and the Middle East to overcome these hurdles. Here, we discuss the five most pressing challenges charity kitchens face and the factors that sometimes make it impossible to prepare food for those who need it most.

1. Health Challenges: Combating Environmental Hazards in War-Torn Regions

Health and hygiene are some of the most significant challenges charity kitchens face, particularly in war zones like Yemen, Syria, and Palestine. Without proper sewage systems and waste management, maintaining cleanliness becomes a constant struggle. Imagine cooking food in an environment where sewage flows through damaged streets, contaminating everything it touches. This is a harsh reality for our teams who operate in war-torn areas.

In many field kitchens, there is no established sewage system. Wastewater accumulates, creating an environment that poses severe risks of disease, such as cholera and typhoid. Our charity teams work under extremely difficult conditions to ensure that food is prepared with maximum hygiene. For example, in Yemen, our teams had to construct makeshift drainage systems to divert wastewater away from kitchen spaces, preventing contamination of food supplies.

Another major health challenge is the lack of access to clean water. Without clean water, washing vegetables, cooking, and cleaning utensils become nearly impossible. Contaminated water sources can lead to waterborne illnesses, which further endanger already vulnerable communities. We remain committed to providing clean water, often transporting it from distant areas, to ensure every meal is prepared safely.

Hygiene is not just about keeping the food clean; it is about maintaining the dignity and health of those we serve. Despite the challenges, we stand firm in our mission, knowing that every meal we provide can bring hope and comfort to those in need.

2. Supply Chain Disruptions: Checkpoints and Food Shortages

In war-torn areas, supply chain disruptions are an ongoing nightmare. Charity kitchens rely heavily on consistent supplies of raw materials like onions, tomatoes, potatoes, and other essentials. However, in conflict zones, frequent checkpoints and roadblocks cause severe delays in food deliveries.

For example, in Syria, a shipment of vegetables intended for one of our kitchens was delayed for days at a checkpoint. By the time it arrived, half of the tomatoes and onions had spoiled due to the harsh weather conditions and lack of proper storage. Such losses not only waste precious resources but also delay meal preparation for hungry families.

Transportation is another hurdle. Fuel shortages and damaged roads make it difficult to transport food supplies to kitchens or distribute cooked meals to remote areas. In some cases, we rely on volunteers to hand-carry supplies across rugged terrain to ensure that no family is left without food.

The unpredictability of supply chains means that our teams must constantly adapt. When fresh vegetables are unavailable, we shift to non-perishable alternatives like lentils, rice, and dried beans. These items can sustain families for longer periods, ensuring that no child goes to bed hungry.

3. Infrastructure and Utility Problems: Cooking Without Resources

A functional kitchen requires infrastructure: stoves, gas, electricity, clean water, and adequate space. Unfortunately, many charity kitchens in Africa, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region operate without reliable infrastructure. Power outages are common, gas cylinders are scarce, and water supplies are unpredictable.

In Palestine, we faced a situation where the kitchen’s gas supply was completely cut off due to ongoing blockades. Our teams had to resort to cooking over open fires, using wood gathered from nearby areas. While this solution allowed us to continue feeding families, it was labor-intensive and slowed down our operations.

Pay attention to these pictures. These pots of food, which would be simple and easy to prepare under normal conditions, were cooked with 50 hours of nonstop effort and the sleepless dedication of many individuals.

The lack of proper kitchen equipment, such as large pots, stoves, and refrigeration systems, further complicates food preparation. In some cases, our teams have had to cook in shifts to accommodate limited space and resources. For instance, a kitchen in Yemen operated with a single stove to prepare meals for over 1,000 people each day. Despite the challenges, our dedicated volunteers made it happen with patience and perseverance.

By investing in portable kitchen solutions, solar-powered stoves, and water purifiers, we strive to overcome infrastructure issues and ensure that meals continue to reach those in need, no matter the circumstances.

4. Financial Challenges: The Lifeblood of Charity Kitchens

Running charity kitchens requires steady financial support. From purchasing ingredients to maintaining equipment, every operation relies on the generosity of donors. However, financial challenges can arise, especially during times of economic uncertainty.

In a world where currency values fluctuate daily, it is essential to remember that hunger cannot wait. A hungry child does not understand market prices. This is why we urge donors to continue their crypto donations and financial support, regardless of external factors. Every crypto donation matters, and every Satoshi helps us provide food aid to those who need it most.

At Our Islamic Charity, we maintain a regular budget planning system to ensure that every Satoshi is used effectively. Our operations span multiple countries, and managing such an extensive network requires daily monitoring and transparency. By the will of Allah and the support of generous donors, we can continue to feed families even in the most challenging circumstances.

Remember, your donation today can mean a warm meal for a family in Syria, Yemen, or Palestine tomorrow.

5. Social and Cultural Factors: Serving Food That Respects Dignity

Food is more than sustenance; it is a part of culture, identity, and dignity. Charity kitchens must consider local traditions, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences when preparing meals. In Islamic communities, providing halal food is not just a choice but an obligation.

For example, in Sudan, our kitchens focus on preparing culturally appropriate meals such as rice with meat or lentils, which are both nutritious and familiar to the local population. Serving meals that align with cultural expectations ensures that the food is accepted with gratitude and dignity.

In addition, charity kitchens face overwhelming demand during times like Ramadan. The challenge lies in managing limited resources while meeting the increased need for iftar and suhoor meals. Our teams work tirelessly to ensure that families receive warm, nutritious meals to break their fast, despite the immense pressure.

Standing Firm With Allah’s Help

At Our Islamic Charity, we are committed to overcoming these challenges with patience, faith, and determination. Whether it is the lack of clean water, supply chain disruptions, financial struggles, or cultural considerations, we continue to provide food for the needy with the help of Allah and the unwavering support of our donors.

Every day, we stand firm in our mission to serve the hungry, the displaced, and the vulnerable. We believe that no child should sleep on an empty stomach and no family should suffer the pangs of hunger. With Allah’s guidance and your continued crypto donations, we will persevere. If you wish to donate to a specific country, you can view the list of supported countries here.

Let us work together to build a world where warm, healthy food reaches every table. Your support can make all the difference. May Allah bless you for your generosity and compassion, and may He accept our efforts to serve His creation.

International and Global Events and Mental Health

In a world shaped by diverse challenges, it is essential to address both mental and physical health to achieve a balanced and fulfilling life. Many international and global events remind us of this truth, as they strive to improve lives by focusing on mental wellness alongside physical care. As members of Our Islamic Charity, we are committed to this holistic approach, ensuring we extend care to both the body and mind, bringing solace and hope to those in need.

The Foundation of Holistic Well-Being

Mental and physical health are deeply intertwined. When the mind suffers, the body often bears the consequences–and vice versa. For many women, children, adults, and elderly individuals, life’s challenges can leave deep emotional scars. From displacement and poverty to loss and trauma, these experiences demand not only physical aid but also emotional healing. Recognizing this, our Islamic Charity actively supports initiatives that address both aspects of human health.

International observances provide a platform to highlight these issues. For example:

  • World Mental Health Day (October 10): Focuses on mental health education and breaking stigma.
  • International Day of Families (May 15): Addresses the role of family support in mental well-being.
  • International Day of Happiness (March 20): Promotes the significance of emotional health and joy.
  • International Day of Non-Violence (October 2): Encourages peaceful resolutions to conflicts, which helps reduce psychological harm.
  • World Refugee Day (June 20): Highlights the resilience of refugees and their mental health needs.

These events align closely with our mission to restore dignity and wellness to all individuals, especially the most vulnerable.

Our Initiatives for Mental and Physical Health

At Our Islamic Charity, we believe in offering comprehensive support that nurtures both body and soul. Our programs are designed to address the unique challenges faced by those we serve. Here are some of the ways we contribute:

Healing Through Trauma Counseling

Many individuals we support have experienced significant trauma. We provide access to skilled counselors and psychologists who offer therapy sessions to help them process their pain and begin their journey toward emotional recovery. Whether it’s a displaced child, a grieving widow, or a struggling elder, our counseling initiatives aim to rebuild hope and strength.

Creating Safe and Supportive Spaces

Safety is foundational to mental health. We establish safe spaces where individuals can express themselves without fear. These environments foster healing by promoting open communication and emotional resilience.

Building Community Networks

Isolation exacerbates mental health challenges. By strengthening community bonds and organizing support groups, we help individuals find solace in shared experiences. This sense of belonging can be transformative in rebuilding lives.

Promoting Education and Awareness

Education is a powerful tool for change. We conduct workshops on coping mechanisms, resilience, and stress management, empowering individuals to handle life’s challenges more effectively. Our campaigns also tackle stigma surrounding mental health, encouraging people to seek help without fear of judgment.

Integrating Mental Health into Physical Care

Physical health initiatives are most effective when combined with mental health support. For instance, our medical outreach programs include mental health assessments and referrals, ensuring holistic care for those we serve.

A Human-Centric Approach

Beyond addressing immediate needs, our charity also promotes activities that nurture mental well-being. From art therapy sessions and mindfulness practices to religious and spiritual guidance, these initiatives help individuals rediscover their inner peace. By integrating these into our charity work, we offer comprehensive care that respects the dignity and humanity of every person.

Broader Implications for a Better World

Focusing on mental and physical health doesn’t just transform individual lives–it uplifts entire communities. When people are healthy in mind and body, they contribute more positively to society. They can rebuild their families, engage in meaningful work, and inspire others with their resilience.

As an Islamic charity, we draw inspiration from the teachings of compassion and service in Islam. We believe that by addressing mental health, we not only heal individuals but also fulfill our duty to create a more just and compassionate world. Together, we can break the cycles of suffering and build a foundation for enduring hope and happiness.

A Call to Action

As you reflect on the importance of mental and physical health, we invite you to join us in this noble mission. Your support enables us to extend these life-changing services to those who need them most. By donating cryptocurrency or other resources, you become a vital part of this transformative journey. Together, we can ensure that no one is left behind–physically or emotionally.

Let’s work hand in hand to create a world where every individual can thrive, free from the burdens of trauma and pain, and empowered by a sense of holistic well-being.

Syria: Will Peace Finally Prevail?

In December 2024, Syria embarked on a monumental transformation, altering the course of its history with a change of flag and leadership. This significant shift signals the end of over 50 years of an era, marking a new chapter filled with hopes for peace and stability. Yet, the road ahead is arduous. The country stands amid widespread destruction, with its infrastructure, communities, and lives severely affected. At Our Islamic Charity, we feel a heightened sense of responsibility to step forward and support the people of Syria in their time of greatest need.

Syria’s New Era: A Mix of Hope and Challenges

This change is more than symbolic; it represents the collective aspirations of a nation longing for justice, safety, and dignity. However, as with all transitions, the aftermath brings formidable challenges. Cities lie in ruins, displaced families seek shelter, and essential services have ground to a halt. The scars of conflict are deeply etched into the fabric of society, leaving us all with an undeniable duty to act. It is in these moments that charity becomes not just a choice but an obligation, a way to manifest our faith and devotion to Allah.

A Story of Loss and Resilience

Fatima and her three children were among the many families who returned to their hometown after years of displacement. The joy of being back was soon overshadowed by heartbreak. Their house, once filled with laughter and memories, was reduced to rubble. The streets where her children used to play were silent, lined with broken buildings and shattered lives. “There is no home left for us,” she said, her voice heavy with grief. Yet, amidst the devastation, Fatima clings to hope, knowing that with the support of organizations like ours, her family can rebuild and thrive once again.

Restoring Health and Education

Health and education are pillars of any functioning society, and in Syria, both have suffered immensely. The destruction of clinics and hospitals has left thousands without access to critical care, particularly women and children who are often the most vulnerable during crises. Our immediate focus is to rebuild and reopen these facilities, ensuring that every individual can access the healthcare they need.

Similarly, schools are central to reviving hope and creating a stable future. Education is not merely about knowledge; it is about empowerment. By restoring schools, we aim to provide Syrian children with the tools to rebuild their lives and their country with a strong foundation in faith, resilience, and learning.

Rebuilding Vital Infrastructure

Reconstruction goes beyond homes and buildings; it includes the lifelines that enable a community to thrive. Fire stations, electricity grids, telecommunications systems, and other essential services are critical for stability and security. These institutions form the backbone of any nation and are key to allowing families to regain a sense of normalcy. Our efforts focus on cooperating with local teams to rebuild and operate these vital centers, providing immediate relief while laying the groundwork for long-term recovery.

Empowering Through Charity and Faith

At the heart of all we do is a commitment to serving Allah through action. Charity is a means of purification and a testament to our shared humanity. Your contributions–whether through cryptocurrency, zakat, or direct donations–empower us to provide shelter for the displaced, food for the hungry, and care for the sick. Together, we can create a ripple of positive change, turning despair into hope and ruins into a thriving future.

Your Role in Reviving Syria

This is not just a mission for us as an organization; it is a mission for every believer who seeks to follow the path of Allah. Your support allows us to extend our reach, rebuild lives, and restore communities. Syria’s women and children are counting on us to bring light to their lives and guide them toward a peaceful tomorrow.

Together, we can ensure that this pivotal moment in Syria’s history becomes a turning point toward unity, strength, and prosperity. Join us in this sacred cause and witness the power of collective faith and action. Let us build, revive, and hope together for the sake of Allah and humanity.

With your unwavering support, we can transform challenges into opportunities and bring lasting peace to a nation that has endured so much. Let us work hand in hand to fulfill our duty and be a source of light and hope for Syria’s future.

Why WASH Initiatives Are Vital in Islamic Charity: Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene for Humanitarian Aid

When crises strike, communities face challenges that go beyond hunger and shelter. Access to clean water, proper sanitation, and essential hygiene becomes a critical priority to prevent the outbreak of disease and safeguard lives. WASH, which stands for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, is a cornerstone of humanitarian efforts, and for us at Our Islamic Charity, it’s one of the most significant areas of focus.

What Is WASH, and Why Does It Matter?

WASH encompasses initiatives to provide clean water, build sanitation facilities, and educate communities on essential hygiene practices. These efforts are vital in emergency settings where the lack of clean water and proper sanitation can quickly turn into public health crises, spreading diseases like cholera and dysentery.

WASH stands for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. It is a sector in humanitarian and development work that focuses on providing communities with access to clean water, adequate sanitation facilities, and hygiene education.

For communities living in temporary shelters after displacement, WASH is not just a necessity but a lifeline. A single contaminated water source can harm thousands, and inadequate sanitation can accelerate the spread of disease. This makes it imperative to establish WASH systems in crisis-stricken areas as one of the first steps in relief work.

How WASH Aligns With Islamic Charity Principles

Islam teaches us the importance of cleanliness, personal health, and caring for the less fortunate. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized cleanliness as a part of faith, making WASH efforts deeply aligned with Islamic values. Providing clean water, safe sanitation, and hygiene education ensures that we not only save lives but also uphold the dignity of those in need.

When we assist communities, one of our first tasks is to identify appropriate locations for temporary food and water storage. These areas must be carefully chosen to be hygienic and secure, ensuring that clean water is accessible while minimizing contamination risks. Additionally, we prioritize creating temporary toilets and bathrooms far from living quarters to reduce the likelihood of disease transmission.

This approach allows us to maintain health standards in even the most challenging circumstances, ensuring the well-being of small, temporary communities and helping families maintain their dignity during difficult times.

Our Commitment to WASH in 2023 and Beyond

In 2023, Our Islamic Charity allocated 38% of its annual budget to water relief and WASH programs. This includes:

  • Digging water wells to provide clean and sustainable water sources.
  • Distributing hygiene kits containing essential items like soap, toothbrushes, and sanitary products.
  • Building sanitation facilities in displacement camps and rural areas.
  • Providing hygiene education to teach families how to prevent the spread of diseases.
  • Promoting practices like handwashing with soap.
  • Distributing hygiene kits, including soap, menstrual hygiene products, and disinfectants.
  • Running public awareness campaigns on hygiene to prevent diseases like cholera and diarrhea.

These efforts reflect our belief that water is not just a necessity–it is a blessing from Allah that must be shared equitably, especially with those in need.

How Your Cryptocurrency Donations Help WASH Programs

Your support allows us to expand our WASH efforts, reaching more families and communities who depend on this life-saving aid. By donating cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or USDT, you can directly contribute to digging wells, building sanitation facilities, and providing hygiene kits. With crypto donations, we can efficiently transfer funds to crisis zones, ensuring immediate action where it’s needed most.

A Healthier Tomorrow Starts Today

Through WASH initiatives, we not only save lives but also pave the way for communities to rebuild with dignity and health. As we continue our work, we ask for your partnership in this noble effort. Your contributions help us ensure that families in crisis have access to clean water, proper sanitation, and hygiene education, giving them the chance to live healthier and more dignified lives.

May Allah accept your generosity and guide us all to continue serving humanity. Together, we can make a lasting impact, one clean drop of water at a time.

One of the secrets to our success is our emphasis on local trustees. These individuals, handpicked with care and devotion, serve as the eyes and hands of our charity in their communities. Their commitment ensures every activity is targeted, efficient, and impactful.

And today, we are thrilled to share a significant milestone with you: our ongoing efforts to establish local bases in the neighboring countries of Niger and Nigeria are bearing fruit. With Allah’s blessing, we aim to commence impactful charitable activities in these regions before the holy month of Ramadan 2025-1447.

Why Local Trustees Are Key to Our Success

When you donate or volunteer with us, you place immense trust in Our Islamic Charity. You deserve to know that your contributions are being handled with the utmost care and accountability. That’s why we prioritize working with local trustees.

Local trustees understand their communities better than anyone else. They are aware of the challenges and needs unique to their regions. Their supervision ensures every zakat, sadaqah, and donation reaches the people who need it most, in the most effective way.

This approach not only strengthens the impact of your support but also enhances the trustworthiness of our organization. Over the years, this model has proven to be an invaluable asset in regions where our presence has made a lasting difference.

Expanding Into Niger and Nigeria

For several years now, our team has been working tirelessly to establish connections with communities in Niger and Nigeria. These efforts are driven by our desire to provide direct aid to Muslims in these countries.

Through countless meetings, conversations, and outreach efforts, we’ve been able to identify dedicated individuals who will serve as the backbone of our operations in these regions. Their local expertise and passion for service will help us ensure that the upcoming projects in Niger and Nigeria are executed with precision and compassion.

As we approach Ramadan 2025-1447, the excitement within our team is palpable. We can already envision the smiles on the faces of the Fuqara (needy) and the countless blessings that will be shared through your generosity.

The Joy of Preparing for Ramadan

Ramadan is a time of reflection, generosity, and community. For Our Islamic Charity, it is also the busiest and most fulfilling time of the year. With Allah’s guidance, our expansion into Niger and Nigeria will allow us to reach even more families during this sacred month.

Imagine the joy of providing Iftar meals to fasting Muslims, distributing essential supplies, and supporting orphaned children in these regions. Together, we can make this vision a reality.

We are already preparing to launch projects that align with our 100% donation policy, ensuring every satoshi you contribute is spent directly on charitable activities. By partnering with local trustees, we’re confident that our efforts will leave a meaningful and lasting impact on these communities.

How Cryptocurrency Can Help Alleviate Poverty and Hunger in Aleppo

For over a decade, Syria has endured relentless wars, displacing millions and destroying homes, businesses, and entire communities. The scars left behind by this conflict are etched deeply in cities like Aleppo, where the recent attacks have left countless families grieving and struggling to survive. The number of lives lost, injuries sustained, and families displaced is staggering. Women and children bear the brunt of this tragedy, their cries echoing through the rubble of what was once a thriving city.

The situation in Aleppo remains dire as hostilities have escalated significantly in recent days. On November 27, 2024, a coalition of opposition groups launched a large-scale offensive against pro-government forces in Aleppo, marking the first such attack since 2020. This has resulted in the capture of nine districts within the city and a significant displacement of civilians. Reports estimate thousands have been forced to flee, with heavy casualties including many civilians. The ongoing violence compounds the suffering of a population already devastated by years of war and instability

As Muslims, it is our duty to stand beside our brothers and sisters in their darkest hour. Since 2020, we at Our Islamic Charity have been steadfast in providing aid to the oppressed, embodying the principles of Islam by extending a helping hand. Today, we aim to harness the power of cryptocurrency to make a tangible difference in alleviating poverty and hunger in Aleppo.

Why Cryptocurrency Is a Game-Changer for Humanitarian Aid

Cryptocurrency is more than just a digital asset–it’s a beacon of hope for those trapped in war zones like Aleppo. Here’s why:

  • Fast and Secure Transfers: Unlike traditional banking systems, cryptocurrency allows funds to be transferred instantly and securely. This means that donations can reach those in need without delays or intermediaries.
  • Accessibility in Crisis Zones: In regions where financial systems are in disarray, cryptocurrency provides an alternative that doesn’t rely on physical infrastructure. Imagine that right now and at this very moment, no bank is open in Aleppo and you cannot find cash, and bank infrastructure such as ATMs have been destroyed or have no electricity.
  • Transparency for Donors: With blockchain technology, every transaction is traceable, ensuring that your contributions are used effectively and reach their intended recipients.

By integrating cryptocurrency into our aid distribution, we can directly support families in Aleppo, providing them with the essentials they desperately need.

How We Combat Poverty and Hunger in Aleppo

Our approach combines the compassion of Islamic principles with modern technology, ensuring that every act of charity has a lasting impact.

  • Providing Hot Meals: Hunger is an immediate crisis in war-torn areas. We distribute freshly cooked meals to ensure families, especially children, have access to nutritious food.
  • Emergency Food Assistance: We prioritize delivering freshly prepared hot meals and dry food packages to families in dire need. Malnourished children and women receive specialized nutritional support to combat the effects of prolonged hunger.
  • Medical Aid and Supplies: In conflict zones, access to healthcare is a luxury. We supply essential medicines, first-aid kits, and facilitate medical assistance to treat injuries and illnesses caused by the ongoing war.
  • Shelter and Winter Relief: With thousands displaced, shelter is an immediate need. We provide tents, temporary housing, and equip families with blankets, warm clothing, and heaters to survive the frigid nights.
  • Clean Water and Sanitation: Clean water is scarce in Aleppo. Our initiatives include distributing bottled water and setting up portable sanitation facilities to ensure basic hygiene and prevent disease outbreaks.

Your Role in Bringing Change

Imagine the joy and relief of a mother in Aleppo who receives food for her starving children because of your support. Envision the hope in the eyes of a displaced child who gets the dry and clean clothes and blankets for sleeping. Every cryptocurrency donation you make brings us closer to turning these dreams into reality.

As we continue our mission, we urge you to join us. Together, we can combat poverty and hunger, extend a lifeline to war-torn Aleppo, and fulfill our Islamic duty of helping the less fortunate.

Let’s transform our faith into action. Donate today and be the change you wish to see. Together, we can rebuild Aleppo–brick by brick, heart by heart.
