Honoring Women During Ramadan 2025 and Islamic Charity Report

Ramadan 2025 has brought countless blessings, and at Our Islamic Charity, we have been at the forefront of serving the fasting fuqara with dedication and love. As of now, nearly ten days into Ramadan, we have prepared and distributed an average of 10,000 Suhoor and Iftar meals daily across six countries: Palestine, Lebanon, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sudan. This massive effort, supported by our devoted donors, including those who donate cryptocurrency as zakat, has ensured that thousands of needy Muslims can fast in accordance with Islamic Sharia without worrying about their next meal.

However, this Ramadan holds an exceptional significance—it coincides with March 8th, International Women’s Day. This occasion provided us with a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the status of women in Islam, recognizing their strength, patience, and pivotal role in society while ensuring that our fasting sisters felt truly honored.

Honoring Women on March 8th in Ramadan 2025

On this special day, we arranged a heartfelt program dedicated to Muslim women who were fasting. We gathered in mosques and community centers, where we recited the Quran, made du’a, and reflected on the elevated status of women in Islam. The evening concluded with a communal Iftar, where we shared traditional meals and treated our sisters in faith to local sweets as a token of appreciation.

One of the women attending our event in Lebanon, Sister Aisha, expressed her joy, saying:

“Today, we not only celebrate our role as women but also as believers who are blessed to fast for the sake of Allah. In Islam, we are not just valued—we are honored. This Ramadan, as we gather for Iftar, we pray for the well-being of all women, especially those in hardship. May Allah grant us strength and patience.”

Another sister, Fatima from Palestine, shared her gratitude:

“Living under occupation is difficult, but faith and community give us strength. On this Women’s Day, we were reminded that in Islam, a woman’s worth is not defined by worldly standards but by her devotion, kindness, and resilience. May Allah bless all who support women, especially in these times of need.”

The Elevated Status of Women in Islam

Islam grants women a respected and dignified position, emphasizing their rights and responsibilities. The Quran and Hadith highlight the importance of women as mothers, daughters, wives, and contributors to society. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The best of you are those who are best to their women.” (Tirmidhi)

As part of our charity’s mission, we prioritize assisting women, ensuring they have access to nutritious Suhoor and Iftar meals, hygiene essentials, and spiritual gatherings where they can find solace and support.

A Prayer for Our Crypto Donors and Supporters

This Ramadan, we continue to witness the generosity of our donors, including those contributing through cryptocurrency donations, making it easier for us to extend our reach. On this blessed occasion, as we broke our fast together, we collectively raised our hands in du’a:

“O Allah, bless those who give for Your sake. Multiply their rewards, ease their burdens, and grant them the joy of seeing their kindness transform lives. Accept their zakat and sadaqah, and make it a means of barakah in this life and the hereafter. Ameen.”

Moving Forward: Strengthening Support for Women

As we progress through Ramadan 2025, Our Islamic Charity remains committed to empowering women through Islamic values. We will continue organizing iftar gatherings, distributing meals, and providing sustainable aid for women in need.

This Women’s Day was a reminder that Islam has always championed the rights of women—not just in words, but in action. By supporting and uplifting one another, we fulfill a divine duty that brings us closer to Allah.

May Allah bless all women, reward our donors abundantly, and allow us to continue serving for His sake. Ramadan Mubarak!
