Laylatul Qadr Ramadan Al-Ashar Al-Awakhir

What is Al-Ashar Al-Awakhir and what is its significance?

The final ten nights of Ramadan, known as Al-Ashar Al-Awakhir, are the most spiritually charged nights of the year. These nights are a time when blessings descend, sins are erased, and destinies are rewritten. Among them lies the most powerful night, Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Power)—a night greater than a thousand months.

the Night of Decree or Power—which is better than a thousand months (Surah Al-Qadr 97:3).

As believers, we must seize this golden opportunity to elevate our faith, seek forgiveness, and give in charity. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The best charity is that given in Ramadan.” This is our moment to maximize rewards, strengthen our connection with Allah, and support the less fortunate.

The Last 10 Nights of Ramadan: Why Are They So Special?

1. Laylatul Qadr: The Night of Power

The greatest treasure hidden within these ten nights is Laylatul Qadr, the night when the Qur’an was first revealed. Worship on this night is equivalent to more than 83 years of devotion. Angels descend, and Allah’s mercy overflows, offering believers the chance to rewrite their fate through sincere prayers and repentance.

This is the night to make heartfelt du’a, seek forgiveness, and ask for blessings in this life and the hereafter. The most recommended supplication for this night is:

اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني
(O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me.)

2. Intensified Worship: Follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ

During the last ten nights, the Prophet ﷺ increased his acts of worship significantly. It is narrated that he would stay awake all night in prayer, wake his family, and tighten his belt, signifying deep devotion.

Some key actions to follow his example:

  • Tahajjud & Qiyam-ul-Layl: Night prayers hold immense weight in these blessed nights.
  • Dhikr & Qur’an Recitation: Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah.
  • Du’a & Istighfar: Seek forgiveness, as these are nights of mercy.
  • Giving Zakat and Charity: Many Muslims give Zakat during these ten days and benefit from the immense blessings of these ten days. Paying Zakat with the Eid al-Fitr Zakat is one of the best traditions of Muslims during these ten days.

3. The Power of I’tikaf: Seclusion for the Soul

One of the most powerful Sunnahs of these nights is I’tikaf, a spiritual retreat where a believer isolates themselves in the mosque to dedicate time solely to Allah. It is a moment to disconnect from the world and reconnect with the Divine.

Even if one cannot stay in the mosque, setting aside uninterrupted time for worship, reflection, and self-purification at home can bring immense blessings.

The Importance of Forgiving Others in These Nights

Ramadan is not just about fasting and prayer; it’s about purifying the heart. The Prophet ﷺ emphasized the virtue of forgiving others and letting go of grudges, especially in these sacred nights. Imagine standing in prayer, seeking Allah’s forgiveness while holding resentment in your heart—how can we expect forgiveness when we do not grant it to others?

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Show mercy, and you will be shown mercy. Forgive, and Allah will forgive you.”

If you want your sins erased, your du’as accepted, and your heart purified, then let go of anger, bitterness, and grudges. Reach out, reconcile, and embrace the spirit of unity and brotherhood.

Charity in the Last 10 Nights: Your Gateway to Eternal Rewards

One of the best ways to gain Allah’s mercy is through charity. The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous during Ramadan, giving whatever he could to those in need.

Now, in the age of cryptocurrency, we have the chance to donate with ease and anonymity. Giving crypto Zakat in these nights can be your gateway to immense barakah. Every satoshi, every token, and every coin you give can feed the hungry, shelter the displaced, and heal the sick.

We at Our Islamic Charity are on the ground, ensuring your charity reaches those who need it most—providing food, water, and medical aid to those in distress. Imagine making a crypto donation on Laylatul Qadr, multiplying your rewards beyond comprehension.

We ask all of you, dear ones, to pray for the Muslims of Palestine, Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria in these last days of the holy month of Ramadan 2025. In this Ramadan, as members of Islamic charities who are present in these areas for charitable activities, we are witnessing war and displacement of people, especially orphans. May Allah bless us all.

Final Thoughts: Make These Nights Count

These last ten nights are a gift, a once-in-a-year opportunity to turn back to Allah with sincerity. Don’t let them pass by like any other night.

  • Pray like it’s your last Ramadan.
  • Give like it’s your last chance for Sadaqah.
  • Forgive like you seek Allah’s forgiveness.
  • Seek Laylatul Qadr with all your heart.

The doors of mercy, forgiveness, and paradise are open. Will you walk through them?

Make the most of these nights. Pray. Repent. Give. And witness the blessings pour into your life. 🌙✨
