The Guiding Light of Our Work: Quran and Hadith

Our work is not arbitrary. It is a direct response to divine command. The Quran succinctly encapsulates the essence of our work in Surah Al-Hajj (22:41):

“They are those who, if We establish them in the land, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjoin the right and forbid wrong…”. This verse underscores the value of charity (Zakat) and the pursuit of social justice, the pillars that prop up our multifaceted initiatives.

The Hadith, too, reverberates with the spirit of our work. As Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said (Daraqutni, Hasan):

“The best of people are those that bring the most benefit to the rest of mankind.” This Hadith serves as a beacon, illuminating our path as we strive to bring tangible benefits to communities worldwide.

Food and Water Aid(Nourishing the Body): In a world where nutrition and healthcare are often privileges rather than rights, we strive to ensure no one sleeps hungry. We echo the sentiment of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:215) regarding spending on the needy. Whether digging wells in drought-stricken regions or delivering food parcels in conflict zones Like Palestine, Gaza, Rafah, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, we are there.

“Whatever you spend of good is to be for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler…”.

Protecting the Vulnerable (Orphans & Infants): Our sponsorship programs focus on the most defenseless among us, infants, orphans, and individuals with disabilities. We provide a ray of hope to those in challenging circumstances, inspired by the promise of the Prophet (peace be upon him)(Sahih Bukhari):

“I and the person who looks after an orphan and provides for him, will be in paradise like this, putting his index and middle fingers together.”

Education and Training: We support education and training programs that promote skill-building and knowledge development, including religious education, vocational training, and literacy programs.

Humanitarian Assistance: We provide emergency relief and assistance to those affected by conflict, natural disasters like a flood, an earthquake, and other crises. Most of our charitable activities are carried out in mosques(Masjid). We believe that preserving the rich Islamic heritage is as important as addressing immediate physical needs. Mosques and Islamic centers are the best and most important gathering places for our Muslim brothers and sisters where we can unite(Ummah) and help those in need. Hence, we carry out our charitable activities using the space of mosques and strive to preserve the survival of the mosque. This ensures that our past continues to inspire our future.
