This Ramadan 2025, Our Islamic Charity is honored to share a glimpse of Halima’s incredible journey—an unsung hero who has cooked for fasting Muslims in Syria and Palestine for eight years. With deep faith and sincerity, she prepares Suhoor and Iftar 🌙🍛 meals daily, ensuring that the needy have food to break their fast. Initially hesitant to be recognized, she reminded us that true charity is best when concealed, quoting the Quranic verse:
📖“If you disclose your charity, it is good, but if you conceal it and give it to the poor, it is better for you…” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:271).
Today, with her blessing, we present a visual report of her selfless work. From bustling kitchens to steaming pots of food, this gallery captures the dedication and faith behind every meal. You can read the full story here.
It all starts with a thought—a whisper in your heart, a moment of realization that you have the ability to help someone in need. You feel the weight of your blessings and decide to share, not out of obligation, but out of love and faith.
With trust in Allah’s promise that charity never decreases wealth, you take action. Maybe you give your Zakat to purify your earnings, or maybe you send a Sadaqah to feed a hungry soul. A simple click, a transfer, or a physical act of giving—it leaves your hands, but its journey has just begun.
Your donation is received by those entrusted with distributing it. This is an amanah (sacred trust), handled with the utmost responsibility. Whether it’s food, shelter, medical aid, or education, your contribution is carefully allocated where it will make the most impact.
“So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it, And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.” Surah Az-Zalzalah (99:7-8)
Across deserts, war zones, refugee camps, and poverty-stricken villages, your donation moves. It finds its way to the hands of a widow, a struggling father, an orphaned child, or a fasting soul awaiting Iftar.
With full hearts and tearful eyes, the recipients make dua for you. They ask Allah to bless you, to increase your wealth, to protect your family, and to grant you Jannah.
The most beautiful part? Your charity doesn’t stop working for you.
A beautiful thing happens when you give: you inspire others to do the same. The one you helped today may help another tomorrow. A child who once received aid may grow up to serve others.
🌿 Give now. Share your blessings. Watch the barakah flow back to you. 🌿
May Allah accept your generosity and reward you beyond measure. Ameen. 🤲✨
