One of our projects is aqiqah(aqeeqah), which is the Islamic tradition of sacrificing an animal on behalf of the newborn child. We will explain how we use aqiqah for the needy and the poor, and how you can join us in this noble cause. How do we use Aqiqah for the Needy and the Poor?

The animal that is sacrificed for aqiqah should be healthy, mature, and free from any defects. We aim to use aqiqah as a means of feeding the poor and needy and sharing with them the goodness and generosity of Allah.

We have two ways of using aqiqah for the needy and the poor:

We either cook food for them and distribute hot meals to them in different locations, such as mosques, schools, orphanages, hospitals, refugee camps, or slums.
Or we divide the meat and distribute it to the households under our coverage, who are registered with us as eligible beneficiaries.

In both cases, we ensure that the meat is halal (lawful), fresh, and hygienic. We also ensure that the distribution is fair, transparent, and respectful. We also try to reach out to as many people as possible, especially those who are most in need and most deserving.

“The best charity is that which is given when one is rich.” (Bukhari)

Satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin, the most popular and widely used cryptocurrency in the world. It is named after Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious person or group who created Bitcoin in 2008. One Satoshi is equal to 0.00000001 Bitcoin, which means that one Bitcoin is equal to 100 million Satoshi. You can think of Satoshi as the pennies or cents of Bitcoin, allowing you to make transactions with very small amounts of money.

Why do we need Satoshi? Well, because Bitcoin is a digital currency that has a limited supply of 21 million coins, its price can fluctuate significantly depending on the market demand and supply. As of today, one Bitcoin is worth about $47,000, which makes it very expensive for most people to buy or use. Imagine if you wanted to buy a cup of coffee with Bitcoin, you would have to pay 0.0002 Bitcoin, which is not very convenient or practical.
